Newsletters  Spring 2014 Tony Benn R.I.P. He was one of a rare breed of politicians concerned about animal issues and against man made wars.   We will miss him.  And indeed, so will organisations such as the wonderful N.O.W.A.R of which I’ve been honoured to be a fellow patron with him.. Indeed, while Tony had renounced a hereditary peerage he was a marked contrast to one anxious to get a peerage!. I refer to his bitterst rival: Denis Healey who used to come across – unless my ears were faulty! - with the most effected accent I’ve ever had the misfortune to hear from a Labourite. ‘God bless you Tony.
