Review:

Thrive Foods is a 352 page book that is filled 200 recipes for drinks, breakfasts, salads, soups, side dishes, spreads, dips, sauces, dressings, main dishes, snacks, and desserts; many of which come from chefs and restaurants. Since we are both gourmet vegan cooks, we always enjoy finding new recipe ideas like many of the ones contained in this book.

In addition to Thrive Foods recipe selections, Brendan has included other sections on nutrition and health. The section on the environmental toll created by the Standard American Diet was very interesting; and the comparisons to the dramatic reduction in the carbon footprint of a whole plant food diet was fascinating.

Thrive Foods by Brendan Brazier is an excellent addition for anyone's library, as a reference source and for tasty recipes.
