Protest Tarzan Zerbini Circus, Albany NY - September 8, 9, 10, 2017
Hosted by Albany Animal Rights
Protest times are as follows:
Friday, Sept 8th: 6 PM
Saturday, Sept 9th: 1 PM and 6 PM
Sunday, Sept 10th: 3 PM
The Times Union Center is boasting that this is the first time ever that the
Tarzan Zerbini Circus has come to Albany. Let's give them an Albany Animal
Rights greeting with a large number of protesters letting the public know
that we won't stand for animal exploitation!
The circus has Elephants, Tigers and Horses.
Signs and literature will be provided.
A note about How We Protest: We join together as a group to Peacefully
demonstrate, to educate through signs and literature, animal exploitation
and cruelty.
We DO NOT engage in arguments with passersby.
We DO NOT yell or chant at people going into the venue.
Arguments and yelling have never changed someone's mind, in fact it turns
people off to our message. I admire the passion in each one of you, choosing
to stand with us again and again to be a voice for the voiceless.
If people yell or say things to you, please let it roll off, unless you
think you can have a conversation with them that will not get heated. It's
not worth having our message tarnished if we can reach the people
approaching right behind them by being quiet and composed.
Lastly, if there are any problems, you can come and find Nicole, Ellen or
Mary and we will help.
Thank you for choosing to come help educate the public and lend your time
and your voice for the animals!
