Dear Michael:

You're using a circular argument, because humans are also made out of "meat", to use your argument. And as the cannibal said, "People taste good!"

The main reason not to eat or wear animals is because of the immense cruelty inflicted upon them. Such treatment is condemned by the Bible.

Also nowhere in the Bible does it say that Jesus ate any flesh while He was incarnate upon this earth.
