Animals as Food
Comments by Frank and Mary Hoffman - 6 Feb 2009

Dear Joanna:

Thank you for writing.

The whole thing comes down to the cruelty issue. There aren't any humane animal products sold in our supermarkets. All animal flesh and bodily secretions are the product of immense cruelty, that Jesus would never support.

He calls upon us to be meek, gentle, loving and compassionate peacemaking children of God who will free creation for its present corruption. We are not to cause more corruption. This is why He taught us to pray for our Father's heavenly will to be done on earth as it is in heaven, where there is no pain or death.
