Animals as Food
By Frank and Mary Hoffman - 23 Nov 2011

Dear Trey:

Thank you for writing back.

We have found that the hardest way to become vegan is for reasons of health. When the decision is based upon compassion, the transition becomes a lot easier, even in the face of peer pressure. Compassion led us to become vegan more than 25 years ago, and it has been a wonderfully enjoyable and peaceful journey.

We have a large recipe section that you will hopefully find of interest and enjoyable:

We also have a wealth of other information on our web site, including a lot of articles on veganism and health, and a book review section that includes many recipe books.

Our philosophy on health is to let food be our medicine, and we are among the few people we know who are in their seventies who take no medications, and who are in really good health.

We also host a veg-Christian email discussion group, with several members from the west coast, which you are welcome to join. Please let us know.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
