Dear Karolin:
B-12 is naturally made by bacteria in the soil, and is part of the decomposition process; it also lives in our gut naturally and aids in the digestive process, so that we would always have enough B-12. This is the way God does things.
God didn’t create the deficiency, humans did.
Pesticides killed a lot of the B-12 the soil and our over cleaning and peeling of veggies to remove the fertilizer (poop) and pesticides have prevented new bacteria from entering our digestive system.
The taking of antibiotics had also killed the bacteria in our gut which has caused the loss of our natural production of B-12 that God created.
So, we now need to eat products that are fortified with B-12 or take a B-12 supplement.
We hope this helps.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
