Dear Scott:
Thank you for writing.
God's original intent is also His heavenly intent, for as we know there is no death in heaven.
Jesus said we are to be perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect (Matthew 5:48), and He also taught us to pray, in part, "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven."
Shouldn't Christians follow that example of Jesus? Or, could it be that they are simple trying to find excuses to satisfy their lusts?
We hope this helps.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
