The Dilemma Caused by Being Vegetarian in a Christian Church
Comments by Elyse Bell - 8 Apr 2008

Betty, thank you so much for your response. It's so important for us to steward our time and money effectively, and I think people start to feel this particularly keenly when they reach their sixties (years of age).

It becomes critical not to cede control of our limited time and money to people who have a history of squandering or misusing them---that would be casting our pearls before swine (yes, I think pigs are wonderful and smart creatures, but they really wouldn't know what to do with pearls...), which Jesus Himself told us not to do.

Thank you again and many blessings in Jesus Christ,

Elyse
