No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful.  At the same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.

Thousands of years ago, the prophet Isaiah said: (Isaiah 2:4)

4 And He will judge between the nations,
And will render decisions for many peoples;
And they will hammer their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not lift up sword against nation,
And never again will they learn war.

Some things (like how to live peaceably) just take an awfully long time for people to learn. They practice killing animals, so it becomes easier to kill fellow humans.
