I see you

I see hope in eyes of animal herd
Deep brown,
Penetrating.

I see change in
Refusal to buy into
False humanity,
Capital vanity.

I see you
And you see me.
Alive and rippling,
Fury

Against all that is wrong
with this world.

I see something else
Something unheard, undone.
I see hope on the horizon

Of a world yet to come.

I see love and compassion
In evident form.

I see human self – reborn.
