God Does Not Turn Away Refugees
Poetry and Music By Andrew Pell
God does not turn away any refugees from any shore.
He welcomes those who are lonely and poor.
Neither are they sent away by stealth.
God is not influenced by politics or wealth.
Governments are motivated by the political tide.
With God no one is ever denied.
Refugees are forced from their homeland.
God is waiting to gently take them by the hand.
Some Governments send refugees offshore for processing.
God gives compassion and is all embracing.
God does not turn away refugees.
He blesses those who are hungry and in need.
