Spiritual and Inspirational poetry that touch the heart and soul, and provoke the mind.
When we were children we used our imagination.
We played from morning till night.
In those days there was no such thing as a play station.
All our days were joyful and bright.
We were cowboys, Indians, Pirates, the lot.
One of our favourite games was “Hide and seek”,
We had books where you were colouring in and joining the dots.
No day was ever bleak.
As we grew older we used our imagination less and less.
We went to School to learn as much as we could.
As adults we lost sight of what we could do and have fun.
We used to read books a lot.
If only we could go back to simpler times.
Enjoying the simplicity and magic of well known nursery times,
As adults we need to re invent those free days.
We need to join a Dramatic Society and get a role in certain plays.
Take a walk to the beach.
The water can heal and teach.
Become young again in your heart and mind.
Memories you will discover, but to yourself, please, be kind.
Imagination is like Time Travel.
Happy memories it will unravel.
Be kind to yourself today.
Let your imagination have the final say.
