Animal Rights, Spiritual and Inspirational poetry that touch the heart and soul, and provoke the mind.
Once again,
not fully awake,
I step outside
and immediately,
with the first
call of a bird,
the delicate scent
of the still-blooming
azalea,
I am surrounded
by a vibrant
wonderland of life.
Thousands
of living beings,
all right here,
reaching out to me,
offering
the ever-present
invitation
from Mother Nature
to become
fully
awake
and
alive.
