Spiritual and Inspirational poetry that touches the heart and soul, and provoke the mind.
Looking down from the top of the hill - out over the waves
with their timelessness, clarity, disciplined freedom...
drawing back, struck by the smallness of streets,
noting the tiny houses.
Sometimes we seem to be PLAYING BIG -
instead of BEING BIG, as we were made to be!
Hearing the big sounds of Nature in the trees around me,
the love and peace and rhythm that the world has,
without Man's interference!
Thinking of the "Space" Man on T.V. a few years ago, saying,
"There is no peaceful use for Nuclear Energy."
I, too, want to cry, "STOP! PLEASE!"
Why can't all we men and women stand, and say,
"NO WEAPONS! THIS IS A PEACEFUL PLANET!"
(If all who agreed sent me their signatures,
could the poor Postal Service cope with the mail?)
And will New Zealand make itself heard soon,
in line with TOTAL PEACE?
Go on to WHAT PRICE AUTOMOBILES?
