Apple Banana and Carrot Smoothie

Ingredients

Apples
Bananas
Carrots
Flax Seeds, raw, whole
Ice Cubes
Cold Water

Preparation

In the container of a high-speed blender, place approximately equal amounts of cored apple pieces, peeled bananas, washed and peeled carrot pieces, and ice. 

Add the flax seed to the blender container (for each 12 oz. of smoothie add 1 tbsp. - a great source of omega 3 fatty acids).  Cover blender container and run blender at high speed until contents are smooth.  Add some cold water as necessary to aid the blending process.

If too thick, add more cold water and blend again to desired consistency.
