It is said in the scriptures “It is appointed unto man once to die and after that the judgement.” This being true, why is it that so few people think about the judgement while they are planning and committing sins.
Judston was planning to do someone harm that had wronged him earlier in the day. He plotted and planned how he could get even without getting caught and having to pay a price for his sins. He was a fellow moved by his emotions and feelings and needed to satisfy himself on every whim.
As he lay in bed with his hands behind his head, he wondered what he was going to do to feel better about the situation that caused him so much anger. He began to drift off to sleep and as he did, he saw images of clouds and bright sunlight, fresh air and blue skies. Then suddenly, the sky began to burn and flames were leaping out in every direction.
Judston began to feel hot and wanted to wake up from his dream, but could not. He was afraid for his life and was astonished by what he was dreaming. Suddenly, he saw the face of Satan in the fiery sky and fear gripped his entire body.
He screamed, “God help me!” and then he woke up. He sat up on the bed for a moment and then he heard inside his spirit, “As fast as the fire consumed the heavens is like unto the speed that retribution burns the soul.” He thought to himself, “Maybe I should square this with God and let him handle it.”
And God did! Judston and his enemy became like brothers.
