CONTACT NEEDED RE DISGUSTING BIRD-KILLING AD

From: Taffy Williams
June 6, 2025

PLS MAKE THESE CONTACTS - THIS AD IS DISGRACEFUL, THERE ARE PHOTOS OF PIGEONS WITH TARGETS ON THEM ON THE DISH WEBSITE

SEND A NOTE OR CALL TO COMPLAIN PLEASE!!
I just saw this ad on TV showing a child and her grandfather throwing balls at wooden pigeons as hard as she can, for prizes and by the encouragement of her older male guardian. The wooden birds have bulls-eye targets painted on them~
This kind of disrespect toward wildlife should not be tolerated! I just called this customer service numbers and finally got a supervisor - I ranted for 10 minutes and threatened to setup a petition to boycott DISH TV because they are promoting violence toward birds, and wildlife in general.

IMAGE is attached Please send this note out to hopefully get a few more complaints:

ALSO SEND A NOTE
Please consider sending your own FLAPOFF condemning DISHTV for this egregious disrespect and violence-inciting image of killing pigeons for fun. My note to DISHTV's FLAPOFF:
"First of all, DISHTV is promoting violence toward birds and wildlife by these ads: hitting wooden pigeons painted with a target on them - as hard as you can with a red ball for prizes at some fair. Whatever SICKO thought of this should be FIRED! THIS IS AN OUTRAGEOUS PROMOTION OF ANIMAL ABUSE AND DISRESPECT TO nature and leads me to say, "I'D TAKE DIRECT TV OVER DISH ANY DAY." These ads promote violence in our society - and WE NEED TO STOP DOING THIS! We, in my circle, clubs, family, workplace and school REJECT KILLING BIRDS OR WILDLIFE! We don't approve of any commercial venue trying to profit from the SYMBOLIC - or real- KILLING OF BIRDS - ESPECIALLY PIGEONS - to try to win customers. SHAME ON DISHTV. I WILL NEVER BE YOUR CUSTOMER.
