(February 20, 2013) ARDSLEY - Animal advocates and county parks officials say they are making progress in discussions on Westchester�s geese problem. Both sides met in Ardsley today, where they say they had a constructive exchange of ideas. The controversy over the geese population began last summer when
unwanted geese droppings became a major issue. County officials took
drastic action by euthanizing the animals. The meat was then used to
