"First soldiers, now a few birds"

Published in METRO (WWW.METRO.US)
November 8, 2006

Regarding "Cheney going hunting on Tuesday" (Nov. 6): Of course Dick Cheney is spending Election Day hunting quail. He has knowingly sent thousands of men and women to their death in Iraq; why would he hesitate to kill a few birds? I guess that whole 'do unto others' concept doesn't apply to vice presidents.
