Campaigns Rodeo 'holiday' in Arizona We
received this letter from an Arizona parent who was shocked that her child's
school was closed for 'rodeo' day but not for 'President's Day; our response
is below: I was shocked to see that my son was not off on Presidents Day and the
reason for that is here in Arizona we do not respect the Presidents Day.
They respect cruelty to Animals. For my son is off from school for the
Rodeo. He can home with a report due on what he knows about the Rodeo. I'm
sure his teacher will be shocked when she reads what has written. For I
told my son the TRUTH. The torture of these animals is down right out
shameful and I don't understand why this abuse continues to this day. WHAT
ABOUT THE ANIMAL. We wrote back: Thank you for contacting us. I am very sorry to hear this story, but
thankfully people like you are willing to speak up with the truth. Please
consider writing to your local newspaper, as well as complaining to the
school officials, local government, etc. You might also contact SHARK
www.sharkonline.org for more
information; SHARK sometimes travels into your area as well. Please feel free to contact us at any time, and all best luck with your
efforts. ANIMAL DEFENDERS OF WESTCHESTER Fair Use Notice: This document may contain
