Bots help us be better to birds

Modern technology, including avian radar, is being used successfully in other parts of the world — why not here? (“Bird strike during takeoff at LaGuardia,” May 10). Confusing choices like building a waste transfer station near LaGuardia will exacerbate problems, as even Capt. Sullenberger agrees. Robots now clean our floors, we watch TV on our phones and our cars respond to voice commands. We have the wherewithal to peacefully share air space — we just need to act on it.
