Tuckahoe, N.Y.: Hunters use urine scent lures? (“N.J. bans urine-based lures for deer,” May 1). You mean they use trickery?
No — next you’ll say they use camouflage clothing, food bait, elevated tree stands, stalking, hiding in ditches, covering themselves with leaves and brush, special holographic and peep sights, decoys, hiding in deers’ bedding areas, ambushing them, rattling a spare set of antlers — impossible!
It appears that all those pics of folks grinning over the innocent beings they’ve slaughtered aren’t quite as brave as they tell themselves.
