Silent victims
Tuckahoe, N.Y.: Bill Maher, who makes a handsome living spouting his opinions on a TV show and a podcast, recently expressed his dislike of people who also want to share their opinions. His first target of hatred and disdain? Out of innumerable likely topics, Maher complains about folks who defend cats. This animal “advocate,” who’s an honorary board member of PETA, picks on the most helpless beings in society. Children and animals are the most vulnerable beings on the planet. Neither can defend themselves. This is who Maher doesn’t want folks to defend? My heartfelt thanks to everyone who defends animals. There are millions of things to complain about, Bill. Kindly point your venom at a more worthy target. Kiley Blackman
