From Liz - 31 Mar 2004 Hi! My name is Liz and I'm 13 years old. I think it is a terrible thing that these people kill these horses and other animals. I think that it is wrong, and they should stop doing this to the animals. It is a mean and nasty thing. I know I'm only 13 years old, but I ride horses and I love animals. But it is a shame that these people are getting paid so much money to kill living life that has been around longer than people. Like I said before, I'm only 13 but I am very strong. I hate seeing these animals like this and those people who kill these animals. I hope they get paid less and less money. We have these speeches we have to do in school and my friend got to do a speech about vegetarians. She and I and a lot of other people at my school, and a handful or 2 maybe 3 handfuls of other people I know, do not eat meat any more because of what we have found on the internet. It is a blessed shame that these people don't have a heart. All they think about is money and themselves. So like I said before, I hope these people get paid less and less money and actually come to their senses and stop killing harmless animals. Sincerely, Liz Reply from Frank L. Hoffman Dear Liz: Thank you very much for your letter and expressions of compassion. You mentioned two very positive ways of ending the cruelty and killing: the first was letting other people know the truth about these horrors, and the second was by not buying and eating animal products that support the industry. The more people become aware of what is happening behind the scenes, the sooner these atrocities will end. In the Love of the Lord, Frank Return to Visitors' Comments |
