Moo-ving people toward compassionate living
From Sheena Grothey – 5 Jul 2005
To whom it may concern,
I honestly believe that farm animals are the most exploited animals in the world today. I would do anything to put a stop to this. I have stopped eating meat because of this. There is so much food out there without destroying our animals.
I recently went to the fairgrounds, and my favorite area is the livestock - I spend hours petting the cows, lambs, goats, etc., and it really bothers me when I see a meat chart as to what cut it is - that is so cruel - and people think nothing of it.
I hope there are many others that feel like I do about our animals. Life is too precious to destroy such beautiful animals.
Thank you for listening,

Thank you very much for your compassionate letter.
The indifference of people to the pain and suffering bothers us, too. We find it so strange that a person can love and stroke their companion animals and never make the connection to what is on their plates.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
