Moo-ving people toward compassionate living
From Missy - 26 Jul 2005
I'm very glad that there are people like you in the world to try and show what is happening to the innocent lives of animals..
I'm from a small town in the north and there are no animal rescue units or anything that would allow me to help these poor animals as much as I would like to.. I was just wondering what I can do to just help them even a little bit..
I feel very strongly for animals and my anger towards thoughtless and heartless people that do cruel things to them increases day by day..
I would really appreciate some suggestions that would help me feel like I am trying to help these animals rather then just watching what happens to them...
Please email me with some suggestions.. thanx..

Thank you very much for your kind words, and desire to help the animals.
You can begin by being a "committee" of one, and hopefully attract others to help. The most effective way to bring about a compassionate change is to educate the public. You can begin with family and friends, and move on from there to other people.
You can write letters to the editor of your paper about situations in your community or about issues that have been printed. If something stirs your emotionally, speak out about it in a polite and peaceful manner. Encourage people to join you in stopping the cruelty.
We hope this helps as a starter.
If you need help on a specific issue, please let us know.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
