From Heather Hayes - 9 Aug 2005

I am sitting reading the exploitation of the dogs site with tears streaming down my face. I own a beautiful ex-racing greyhound, my second one, and I just cannot understand how people can be so cruel to dumb animals of any sort. It just breaks my heart that this can go on and no one seems to be able to stop it. I give what I can and always adopt my pets from rescue centres or take in strays when possible.

Prayer seems to be the only answer to these awful things. God did not create man to give him dominion over the animals in such a cruel way. Surely we are responsible for our treatment of life on this planet. If we cannot treat animals well how can we possibly care about our fellow man?

Sorry for going on but I am just so horrified by the pictures and in every dog I can see mine looking out. I pray God takes these people in hand and opens their eyes to their ignorance and evil.

Thanks for letting my get this off my chest. Bless your work and you.

Dear Heather:

Thank you very much for your kind and encouraging words.

You're correct! God doesn't want humans to cruelly dominate the animal kingdom. We are to be kind stewards of His creation.

Prayers do help, but so does action. Please tell as many people as you can about these atrocities and ask them to tell others, and to refer people to our web site so that they can see for themselves. The more people that speak out about these horrors, the sooner they will end.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
