Moo-ving people toward compassionate living
From Marisa Guggenheim - 16 Oct 2005
Although I may be a ten year old, I am a canine lover.
The video clips I just saw, and all the rest of the photos I looked at, mad me very sad. I began to cry.
I am a vegetarian and will not touch any meat. Does milking a cow hurt it? Because, if so I will stop drinking milk and or butter.
I’m going to Student Council at school to raise money to convince everyone that dogs shouldn’t be mistreated, and neither should any other living thing. I am on your side totally.
Please email me back. I need your opinions or comments on what I should do to convince my friends and family to become vegetarians.
I am having a sleepover party with at least 12 other friends. I think I should show them the movie clips and pictures to tell them that they should stop eating meat. For all they know, it could be dog meat shipped to the US and they’re eating it off a bun! I am going to fond out who is allowing all of this! I am about to start crying!
STOP ANIMAL CRUELTY AND STOP EATING MEAT! I AM GOING TO FIND OUT WHO ALLOWING ALL OF THIS AND WHAT IS GOING ON! MORE AND MORE PETS ARE GETTING KILLED! PEOPLE, DOGS AND PETS DESERVE OUR LOVE!
Please write back to me at the email provided.

Thank you very much for writing to us. The future of our world rests in the compassionate hearts of young people like you.
Even human mother's breasts sometimes hurt from nursing their babies. Ask your mother about this. So, it is only logical to assume that cows have the same kind of pain. They also seem to have more mastitis (breast disease) than humans get, which we believe is due to over milking.
There seems to be no common way of getting our compassionate message through to all people. Different people react in different ways, so you need to try different things. You don't want to overwhelm anyone, but introduce them to things slowly and see how they react. Just as you moved at your own pace in learning about these things. This is why we have so many different things on our web site.
We hope this helps.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
