From Tara Renshaw - 19 Oct 2005

Dear all.

My name is Tara, and as part of my final year at school, I have chosen a subject called Extension Studies which enables me to revolve an entire unit of study around a particular issue of passion.

For me, I have chosen animal compassion needed in the export and food industry, helping to educate my somewhat ignorant School community in Adelaide, Australia by hosting a large exhibition featuring several of my paintings and a life-size paper mache' pig in a to scale birthing crate. The exhibition is only three weeks away and with your permission, I would like to use your pictures on your page on cruelty concerning broiler chickens as part of a display to be placed on the wall.

If you will say yes (please do, the pictures are incredible and heartbreaking, and I find it impossible to see how anyone can NOT sympathise with these appalling conditions). All pictures will be sourced and thanked, and with any luck I will be able to convince a stubborn audience! Your reply will be very much appreciated!

Thanks for the awesome and informative site, all the information and personal stories on it gave me a real insight and crucial personal views!

Thank you again!

Tara Renshaw.
