Moo-ving people toward compassionate living
From Samantha Pelfrey - 26 Nov 2005
What I just saw literally horrified me! I got so sick.
I'm a 15 year old girl from the town of Rhinelander, its pretty small and is located in the upper part of Wisconsin. I have been a vegetarian for most of my life, its pictures like these that definitely turn me away from meat.
What people do to animals, especially these horses, is terrible! I want to help with things like this, but what can we do? Its got to stop.

Thank you very much for writing and for your compassion.
The more we expose the truth, the more we politely speak out and demand an end to all cruelty to animals the sooner the laws will change and animal suffering will end.
Our hope is that more and more people will be horrified enough to change their life style as you have done.
What ever you can do to spread the message at school and around your community will help. You can also refer people to our web site so that they can see for themselves.
You also seem to have good command of English and are a good writer. If you write open letters or articles about cruelty to animals, the sanitizing of violence to animals in advertising and in commerce, or anything else, we'd very much to publish them. This way more and more people will hear what you have to say.
Young people like you can change this world for the better.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
