From Stephanie Tomblin - 27 Dec 2005

This morning I had a big piece of ham. I wanted to start a diet so I thought maybe if I were shown a picture of the animal I was eating maybe it would help me to start eating fruits and anything you could grow from the ground, but after visiting your website it has shown me to never ever eat a poor animal again!!!!!!!!

It made me cry for all the animal harshness. I can't live with myself for what I have done. I am raised in the country where I am raised to fish, and kill animals, but now I'm not! I have never worn fur in my life and I'm not going to, ever!.

But I have a question what foods am I going to eat now, and is it alright to wear fake fur?

Dear Stephanie:

Thank you very much for writing and for telling us about your desire to never again eat an animals.

We have a large recipe section that should help you in your transition to a plant based diet.

The problem with fake fur is that it looks too much like real fur, and thus it promotes the wearing of fur. To end all the cruelty, we need to not only not participate in animal suffering and death, but we need to look the part in the way we appear to others, particularly those who are still eating and wearing animals.

We hope this helps.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
