Moo-ving people toward compassionate living

From Yenha - 9 Oct 2006 Dear Frank and Mary, Thanks for setting up such a wonderful web site to let people understand how human beings cause so much of pain on others. It doesn't matter what animal we are talking about here. My heart aches when I saw your photos and when I see people eat meats. I became vegetarian 8 years ago. My decision was not based on religion. I feel this is the right thing to do. After 2 years I became vegetarian, my two children followed. There was one occasion my son Nicholas went to a roasted duck shop with my mum. He saw how people treated all the dead ducks. He got home and saw my mum chopped up the duck. He cried and told me he could feel the pain and suffering of the duck. He vowed he would never eat any meat in his life. He was only 7 years old at that time. After they became vegetarian, my mother and sisters also followed. I am
not saying I am better than anyone by becoming vegetarian. I just think this
is the right thing to do and we should not cause others to suffer because of
our liking. I think if we want world peace, we should start from our end.
Hope you have a great day and are all well there. Yenha Reply from Frank and Mary Dear Yenha: Thank you very much for writing to us and telling us you, and your familys experiences in living a compassionate lifestyle. You made our day!
