From September through December 1999 Kate Myers is
offering to deliver her popular workshops: �Is Anybody Out There
Listening: Customer Service in Animal Welfare� or �Staying Sane in
Animal Welfare� at cost for local and regional animal welfare groups.
�I find myself in the position to be able to give a
little back and I�d like to find organizations that need the training,
but couldn�t afford the regular fees�, says Kate.
The Customer Service workshop covers basic communication
skills, styles and models. The Staying Sane workshop discusses personal
wellness and maintaining mental fitness in the high trauma profession of
animal care and control. Each workshop lasts one day. Only one workshop
will be provided per client. The sponsoring organization would pay
transportation and expenses for the workshop.
