It's indeed a shocking and sad news. My deep sympathy goes to him. A person
who devoted his whole life to serve God ended up losing his faith and taken
his own life. It says a lot about the current system. If a person doesn't
live a lifestyle of compassion, then he/she will not feel the compassion in
a deeper and real way, no matter how much he/she preaches about it.
The pastor at the church my husband goes to all the time had a sermon
about the "exhaustive Christian life." I had a question as to why it had to
be exhaustive? Why can't it be joyful, happy, fulfilling and mostly
importantly peaceful? There is something essential missing in the system.
