Hi, Ray and Joyce,
I have converted a number of people to vegetarianism, it was not from the Health perspective, but rather, animal rights. Of course, most of the folks I deal with are not fundamentalists... but, they are Christian. Never have I converted anyone to vegetarianism based on health issues... in fact, it would be hard to do so.
To be very truthful, after reading ALL the studies and watching my own body the past, almost 53 years, I no longer believe that vegetarianism is always healthy. If I were making my diet based on health, I would go back to eating flesh... but, because I am vegetarian for ethical reasons, I will not go back to eating meat.
Take care,
Mike
