No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful.  At the same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.

Pro-Life and Politics – 23 August 2006

Isn’t it interesting (maybe “cynical” is a better word) how politicians manipulate those who say they are “pro-life” (for the life of the human pre-born only)? Those clever politicos get the church-folk and their pastors all riled up, and then rake in the captive votes of those who are convinced that they have no other choice at election time.

As long as those naïve ploy-victims concentrate on this one issue only, the politicians can get away with legislation and corrupt shenanigans in their own interest. They have a free ride on the backs of those who are led to believe that they are doing God’s will.
