No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful.  At the same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.

Political Children’s Books – 3 August 2007

In my opinion, the latest attempt to brainwash children for political gain through fear-mongering tactics disguised as “children’s books” is reprehensible and no less than a form of child abuse that can leave emotional scars on susceptible children.

From what I’ve seen, the “liberal” book is not the culprit, as it takes a positive approach in describing their side as kind and caring. However, the opposing side goes overboard with scary drawings and words painting “liberals” as monsters reminiscent of the “boogie man” and “witches” of an older generation’s childhood. Apparently, some who profess to be “conservatives” think that the end justifies the means – even if children are burdened with unnecessary fears and nightmares in this world that is already overburdened with negativity and corruption.

Why don’t politicos unite in putting their energy and resources to good use in ending the real nightmares: the out-of-control cruelty of the powerful meat and dairy industries that are contributing to climate change and disease?
