Here in the Quiet Everlasting Hills
Poetry and Music By Andrew Pell

We sometimes yearn for sublime peace and solitude.
A time away from the goings and comings of the multitude,
We dream of valleys and diverse flowers radiating their light,
A soothing light that will pierce the darkest night,
There are rivers and streams full of abundant life.
Ever moving forward without care or strife.
A place of rest for those who feel weary,
It is also a place to help you see life clearly.
Myriads of invisible beings impart peaceful thoughts.
Sometimes there is a lesson that needs to be taught.
To find that place we do not need a road map or guide.
God is always at our side.
Close your eyes and let God take you by the hand.
The divine part of you will always understand.
Go to that place for refreshment and rest.
You are always a welcome guest.
