The horse is
Grace and form in action
Beauty wild and free..
Spirit overflowing
Just something grand to see!

The snort of
Flaring nostrils
Eyes of fiery dance..
Fine head lifted proudly
And legs that like to prance!

Lift your mighty voices
And arch your
Muscled necks
Coats of gleaming colors
And spots and painted flecks..

Your hearts
Are big and giving
Endurance, strength are sure..
You've helped mankind for ages
Your loyalty is strong and pure;

On prairies wild I see you
In pastures green and wide
But forever
May I find you
Close to mankind's side....
