I Lift My Eyes
To the hills
do I lift up my eyes;
To the mountains,
To the skies;
To the Lord,
To my God,
To the One who
hears my sighs;
To Jehovah I lift my eyes.
Jehovah is
the Creator wise;
He made the mountains,
He made the skies;
He made the sun,
He made the moon,
He made safe shelter
by day and night;
To Jehovah I lift my eyes.
Jehovah sure
protection supplies;
He watches tenderly
from the skies.
He never sleeps,
He never slumbers,
He never ceases
to heed my cries;
To Jehovah I lift my eyes.
