INDEED IT IS TRUE
Within the tomb his body they did place.
With sadness they covered his face.
All done; in certainty as they did cry.
The certainty of upon the cross he did die.
For they rolled a stone before the door:
A large stone so as to see him no more!
Upon the cross he died a terrible death.
In great pain he drew his last breath.
His soul committed into the hands of our Lord.
Done with all the love any man could ever afford.
Done knowing; the Father and the Spirit well.
For he was the Son of God the Bible does tell.
Sent to teach us to live; in the proper way.
Sent to give guidance; for every living day.
Sent for our souls in which he came to save.
Sent; for us to the cross and to his grave.
He was sent with love, our sins to forgive.
If we; would believe and with him lovingly live.
For from in the tomb of death he did proceed.
To walk again as Christ has risen indeed.
