Jesus, How Will I Ever Repay You? All That You Have Done For Me!
Poetry By Anthony James

Everlasting Saviour- of countless Souls-
It is me, now, before Thee?
Oh Lord, You see my tears, You see all my disappointments-
You were born into the physical life in the image of a man-
As were were born into this physical life in the image of You, God.

And now, You have questions,
You have a curious look for me-
You seem deep in thought-
Filing through my every thought, choice, decision and action-
And I know Lord, some of them are held against me
For they were against You-
And I do not deny-
I only weep for Mercy and Forgiveness-

So you, then, look again with a curious look-
Turning around and looking directly at me-
You are checking to see- 'was I merciful? Forgiving?
I do not deny that I was, nor that to some brothers and sisters
I was slow to?

Again I cry and weep-
I say to You, Father-
I was not as merciful to others, Dear Lord-
As I wish You to be to me-
And in that I am guilty, Lord-

And then He says- to me..
Did you write these poems for me?
And a book appears before me out of the thin air?
The cover shows a Bridge made out of Poems-

And I cry, and cry for what seems like an unending
Session of Sorrow and guilt- Sadness and more Sorrow-
There is weeping and there is Joy-

"Yes, Jesus, I wrote them"

....

To be cont'd.
