MORNING HAS BROKEN
By Patrick N. Kramer

Have you ever been up as the morn was new?
Did you ever allow nature to thrill you?
Try it sometime as the sun does rise.
Wake up early for nature to realize.

Wake up someday before the sun.
Itís a fabulous way for day to have begun.
Sitting quietly there; in a chair.
Allowing for, nature her beauty to share.

Listen to the cry of a lone whippoorwill.
Just listen be there very still.
Listen to the cooing of a morning dove.
Quietly sit and learn of natureís love.

Just sit and watch the squirrels at play.
Itís a wonderful way to start your day.
Let nature to your face bring a smile.
Get up as morning breaks and do sit awhile.
