REGRETS OF THE DAY
By Patrick N. Kramer
11-05-06

I awoke again to a new morn.
A morn that quickly became forlorn.
I awoke with many things I should have done.
Of those things I did not a single one.

I awoke this morn and thanks for it I did not give.
This morn was here like water in a sieve.
There were many things I should have done.
Of the important things I did not a one.

Yes, I awoke this morning with many things to do.
I awoke this morning and didnít spend time with you.
With you I should have spent my time today.
Yet those precious moments I allowed to, slip away.

I awoke this morning with only chores upon my mind.
Things that could have waited, time for you I could not find.
I awoke this morning and my day became forlorn.
Our time to be together, I threw away again this morn.
