once upon a time there be a poetry contest
I had to use the oddest words there be
I tried and tried to my own misery-
so I thought a way to do this through
a day and night of sleepless brew
what to do?
well I'll share these words
so that you and you-
can see the trouble he put me through
Busticate
venom
profusion
sage
defenestrate
adjure
phantasmagoria
eclectic
mellifluous
pulchritude
chartreuse
metanoia
scherzando
jejune
sylph
such words as these
from my tongue naught fall
but I'll be damned if I didn't use them all!
