From Trinity - 7 Oct 2004

Hello, my name is Trinity Robertson, I'm 13 years old and at school we are doing issues for our topic. My friend, Nicola, and I are researching animal cruelty and thought we might send you an e-mail voicing our concerns for the animal kingdom.

We are strongly against animal cruelty and think that whoever is caught doing any harm to an animal should be severely punished.

We want to know why people are cruel to animals.

A friend of mine, Nans had a partner who was cruel to their dog.  He would pick it up by it's ears and throw it against walls. but she took the dog and gave it to our Nan, JoJo was extremely happy with our Nan and she was happy with JoJo as she had just lost her other dog which had died of old age.

We hope you get this e-mail.

Yours sincerely

Trinity

Dear Trinity:

Thank you for writing and expressing your concerns about the cruelty inflicted upon animals.

You asked a very interesting question about why some people are cruel to animals. The answer is that some people are evil and they believe that they can get away with it. And the reason that they can get away with it, is that far too many other people are indifferent to the suffering of animals, and either do nothing or support the torturers by buying and consuming their products and services.

The more we spread the truth about the atrocities committed upon animals, the sooner public opinion will force an end to animal exploitation.

We hope this helps.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
