Wishful Thinking |
From Jiliann - 18 Jan 2005 I'm doing a poster for college about the fur trade and your site came up. I think it is very informative, a bit on the gruesome side, but you need that for people to sit up and take notice. I've been a veggie for 20 years now and people are still so ignorant about the beautiful creatures of our planet. Thanks Juliann, Ireland Reply from Frank and Mary Dear Juliann: Thank you for your encouraging note. We're happy we could help you with your poster. We believe that people aren't as "ignorant" about animal suffering as they would have us believe; it's more of a failure to face the reality, so they hide from it. Our publishing of these photos is a form of "shock therapy", that not only makes them sit up and take notice, but also takes away any excuse they may have about not knowing about the atrocities animals are forced to suffer.
