Letter from Barbara Demers - 19 Mar 2006

Thank you for showing these incredibly cruel acts to the unknowing. I must say last week I just happen on to a PETA video and it had a profound effect on my life. I am an absolute convert to veganism! At 38, I have been eating meat without the slightest insight on the cruelty these poor animals go through. I am sickened by the ignorance and lack of respect for other living creatures shown by human race- including my own.

I'll be honest- it isn't easy to stop consuming animal products. I was a huge milk and egg fan, but every time I think about what is involved to produce these items, I can't even consider purchasing them.

Now I can be thankful for is that I will never again contribute to another animals suffering and hope that more unknowing kindhearted people will see and realize this is so unnecessary to eat loving animals.

Your friend,
