From Sarah Maggard - 8 Apr 2006

My name is Sarah Maggard, and I just recently discovered your website. I am a HUGE animal lover. When I saw these pictures it about made me cry.

I don't see how anyone can be so heartless. These are sweet and innocent animals. I used to eat meat. Things like lunch meat and hamburger, but after seeing some of these cat pictures ALONE I pretty much decided I am going to stop eating meat and do all I can to stop these horrific acts.

Personally, I think if you're going to kill an animal, it should be to help them stop suffering if they are in a bad situation and can't survive. It would be better for them to go to a better place than suffer for days before they die.

I also think if you want to eat meat, then kill the animal for the meat, and in a quick way so that the animal doesn't feel much. Don't make the process slow for the poor innocent creatures that God gave us to enjoy. We all need to pray to the good Lord above us that He will help us put an end to this disgusting act(along with all the other disgusting crimes in this world).

Thank you for opening my eyes to how bad animal cruelty REALLY is. Now I can help to make a difference.

Dear Sarah:

Thank you very much for writing and for your commitment to change your eating habits. We have a large recipe section that should be of help.

Please help end the suffering of animals by telling as many people as you can, and encourage them to also speak out.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
